We first discovered CrossFit in 2007 while owning and operating another fitness facility. We received our CrossFit Level 1 certifications and also purchased our Affiliate early in 2008. CrossFit was the perfect fit to match our backgrounds.
We offer over 90 classes a week on our schedule and are open 7 days a week. Current classes Include, but are not limited to:
One thing that we feel is extremely important to be successful coaches is that you need to put the time into your trade. Getting a Level 1 Certification is only the start…anyone can get the cert, not everyone can coach. We spent the next couple years training, learning and coaching. Also, due to our travel we have visited well over 100 other CrossFit Boxes across the country to gain knowledge, experience and best practices. Six months before we opened our doors to the community, we trained a small group of individuals at no cost in our garage to practice our programming and further sharpen our coaching skills. After 3 1/2 years of coaching CrossFit for other boxes and training out of our garage; we decided that it was time to open our own facility in 2011.
It takes time and experience to become a great CrossFit Coach. You have to know the proper ways to get people to move correctly, when to scale or modify a move/weight, how to read athletes and most importantly keep everyone safe.
